*This color denotes a new rule.
Out Of Character!
» know your material!
This roleplaying site is based on the WARRIORS series by Erin Hunter. It would be best to read the first book at least before joining, so you have an idea of what to do.
» follow the rules!
If you do join, we expect you to follow the rules, and not doing so may result in a ban or deletion. You will get a warning or two, of course, but the rules aren't that hard to abide by!
» listen to the staff team!
They know what's best for the site and have been part of it for a long time. Disobeying them can also result in a ban or deletion. When they tell you something, listen to them, and if there is a problem, PM another admin, okay? If there's something wrong with another member and a staff member, don't take care of it yourself - contact another staff member.
» we have a pg +15 rating!
That means I don't mind swearing Ooc. The cats generally don't sue that language, so IC isn't an issue. Do not swear in the c-box, please, it's crude and it isn't attractive at all.
» get on at least once a week!
Concerning activity, we expect you to get on at least a few times a week. If you have prior engagements and can't get on, post in the Away board. Don't just leave without contacting anyone - you will be deleted at the next activity check.
» proper character names!
Use realistic names only. A mother will name her kit based from something she see's, hears, smells, or that of nature. She will never name them off of a clan's name. So therefor, any name with the following words are prohibited as a warrior name : Breeze, Star, Pine, Boulder, Lake, Anything that deals with two-legs. Also, do not name your character based off something such as pain or joy or whatever. Like said above, kits are born based off what the mother see's and such, but don't name a character Deathclaw or something. It's kinda stupid.
» the name claim!
if you go to make a character, please stop by the name claim list to make sure that a name is available. we ask all members do this before deciding on a name because we will only allow one character to have the prefix of, for ex: owl, in each clan. so, please refrain from two character in the same clan having the same prefix. they should go to different clans.
In Character!
» use one of the forms provided!
When you write your bio, it should not be one or two sentences for each category. Please be detailed and have several complete sentences for each category. If your bio is not adequate, a staff member will notify you and you'll have to change it - that's why it's best to make it good the first time.
» at least 200 words per post!
WHEN ROLEPLAYING, DO NOT USE ONE-LINERS! They annoy the heck out of everyone! BS expects you to write at least 200 words per post. . Everyone has their museless days, but if we see you posting one-liners at a constant rate, we will warn then ban you if it keeps going. Also, when roleplaying try to use size 1. It makes the site look neater, and it's pretty :]
» characters can fight!
And of course you can't fight OOC, but it's natural for even cats to fight. If you and the other person cannot figure out who should win, or if you're arguing over it, PM A STAFF MEMBER and they will figure it out based on the person who roleplays best, and the cat who is more likely to win.
» do not powerplay or godmod!
Powerplaying is when you play another person's character, which you are NOT allowed to do (unless the roleplayer of that person has allowed you to). You may not god-mod either, which is when you act like your character has superpowers or is stronger than any other cats.
» only cat can be roleplayed!
[/u]
Only cats may be roleplayed on this site. Other animals are fun, but this is a warriors related site. Maybe for a plot we may have some opened but you can't just create a fox out of no where, okay?
» no graphic breeding or brithing![/u]
Do not roleplay mating graphically - just fade to black, okay? You don't know how young people can be; this site can attract very young members.
» 10 character maximum![/u]
Next, the maximum characters you may have is TEN cats. Keep them all active - if you don't, you will have to get rid of them by adopting out or killing them off. At some point this may change but for now, that's the limit.
» Concerning Accounts![/u]
This site is a site per player, NOT site per account. Please keep that in mind. Also, no numbers in your name, and no odd characters (*,&,^, _,-) It keeps the site looking cleaner. Please do your part.
» Concerning High Ranks!
You can have only two high ranking characters. They have to be in different Clans. Also, they can't be deputy and leader, medicine cat and med. cat apprentice. You can have Leader & med. cat, Leader & Med. cat apprentice, Deputy & med. cat, Deputy & med. cat apprentice. Also, if you want a high rank, use the correct form.
» Obtaining high ranks!
Obtaining high ranks is simple. It's first come first serve. Also, I don't do the whole, 'reserve it because it's a WiP. Nope, first one done, gets the look-over first, and if I like it, it's accepted. I don't just accept it if I don't like it, I tend to judge high position apps pretty heavy.
» Keeping high ranks!
All high position holders MUST be active. More than two weeks without at least an OoC post, the ranks goes back up for audition. Simple as that. When you post IC, it has to be at least 200 words, and at least once every two weeks. That's more than lenient, honestly.
» Concerning Ages!
Okay there are some age issues that need to be addressed. Warriors are cats that have completed training, and are at least 13 moons of age. Apprentices are anywhere from 6 moons to 12 moons of age. Deputies are at least 30 moons of age and have to of mentored at least one apprentice. Leaders cannot be below 40 moons of age. Period. Keep this in mind when making your characters. [/color]
* Rules credited to Dreamy of Warriors United with a few additional by me (Abraxis).
